TECHSTAFF is looking for a Sr. Packaging Engineer in the Madison area to help design packaging solutions for our client’s diverse industrial products.

• Design and develop primary packaging for new and existing products to support product launches.
• Drive and identify gross margin improvement/ cost reduction projects through the optimization of primary and secondary package design / re-design.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support continuous improvement processes through the redesign of packaging.
• Maintain knowledge of the developments and trends in packaging for possible applications with the company’s present and future products.
• Understand basic materials such as plastic molding, flexible materials and secondary carton / corrugate.
• Manage and report cost saving initiatives for packaging related projects.
• Provide technical expertise to solve packaging related quality issues.
• Manage assigned projects to ensure required deadlines are met.
